  1. No you can’t get an ear infection from your dog .. but I’m sure someone will say you can..

Ask your Vet, they will agree with me

  2. No, most animal diseases cannot be spread to humans.

  3. No, it would be a coincidence.

  4. Yes, people can get infections and other problems from dogs. It’s important to wash your hands thoroughly after treating your dog’s ears. It’s a good idea to wash your hands frequently anyway just to keep away the common cold and other illnesses.

If Man can get Aids from a Monkey, why not?

  6. Ear infections arn’t contagious. that like getting toothach from kissing.

  7. No you cannot get an ear infection from your dog.

I think your ear may be hurting because you feel guilty from cleaning your dog’s ears with the WRONG medicine.

The peroxide bubbles in his ear and is very loud. That is hurting his eardrums. Cortizone is not meant for internal use – Plus it is human medication – read the label.

Please take your dog to the vet. They will give you a bottle of special solution to clean his ears. It won’t bubble or fizz. They will also give you the proper antibotic for his ears. Not all ear infections are the same. They need the right meds.

He needs to see a vet. You could damage his hearing!

I have a lab who gets ear infections often and I have prescription medication on hand for her – prescribed by her vet!

  8. NO, you didn’t get the ear infection from your dog.. It’s a coincidence.. Or it’s in your head.. How come your using peroxide and cortisone to clean the ears? Peroxide is a good disinfectant, as soon as there is an injury, it does NOT promote healing tho.. Tends to destroy healthy skin..
