It could be that your eardrum ruptured and is leaking puss and stuff. You should call your doctor. I just had one. How is your hearing? Is it deaf? Are there weird buzzing noises, or does it sound really muffled? Those indicate that the ear drum could be ruptured or damaged. My doctor says it will heal eventually - hopefully, but you should definitely call in or go in.

And don't put anything in your ear until you know what's wrong. If it is as serious as a rupture, that could just make it worse.

Blockage couldve been the reason you have an infection. It sounds to me like wax w/ a bit of blood.

If so, flush your ear with warm water, and see if it loosens up anymore. I've taken an aspirator (used for baby snot) and hydrogen peroxide to flush out the remaining wax/pus.

If it's really bothering you, call the doctor and see what he tells you.

A Discharge from anything means something is not right, although its the body getting it away its self, I Think you should go back to your doctor and he will give you an Anti-Biotic Ear Drop.

I would definitely go back to the doctor.

Just to be on the safe side.
