  1. Sorry but no you need to go to the vet. A farmer I know used something that he used on his cows for his dogs yeast infection and he got it at a TSC or Thiesons etc. But I don’t recomend it.

Polysporin, for eyes, you can safely use, AFTER you cleanse, flush out clean the ears.

No. It requires antibiotics. Inner ear infections are painful and if left untreated, can cause hearing loss. Please don’t wait for a vet visit.

  4. Colloidal Silver was actually used as an antibiotic in the older days due to a number of contraversal factors (too much to list here) it is not used anymore. I use it, it works every time, actually my husband had an ear infection and I used it on him last night, he wasn’t complaining this morninng ( and believe me he would). Read up on it there is oodles of information on the net just google it and make up your own mind. Oh and you can get it from health stores.

  5. There really isn’t anything safe to put in the ear that will effectively kill off the bacteria unless you get something from the vet.
Once you have it cleared up, there are OTC meds and cleaners made to keep the ear clean and keep bacteria from growing.

  6. It has ear mites go to your local pet store and get the ear drops for earmites and follow direction”s cost about 10 bucks.also to tell if your dog has earmites they usualy hold their head down tward the infected side and may wine and scratch at that ear

  7. You can use Colloidal Silver on your dog’s ear. It is a natural antibiotic that is used for several things on animals and humans. It’s great for infections and viruses. I used it on my dog’s ear infection and it healed very quickly. You can find colloidal silver at most GNCs or online.

  8. The ear drops you get from the vet don’t cost much. I got a bottle i think it was called Canural and it was only 20$. The meds from the vet work the best. I told my vet that my dog had an ear infection and he gave me the bottle without having to see the dog.

  9. You really need to go to a vet straight up. If there is a yeast or bacterial infection, the dog really needs medicated (antibiotic/antifungal) ear drops to clear it up. The other thing with ear infections is that it’s important to check that a/ there is nothing down the ear that has triggered the infection (e.g. a grass seed) and that the ear drum is not damaged in anyway. If there’s something down the ear, then the infection’s not going to go away regardless of what it is treated with. If the ear drum is damaged, you have to be very, very careful about anything that is put in the ear- some products, even veterinary ear drops, can lead to problems such as deafness if they are put down the ear canal and are able to pass through into the middle/inner ear.

  10. I think if you would like home or natural remedy for ear infection just search in google for it. I think there are plenty of them to buy.
I found one here on how to make your own if you dont like buying it:

I had ear infection my self 3months ago and buy some natural remedy witch helped. I found here:
but I dont know is it the same for human as it is for dogs.

I also read this antibiotic treatment is much over prescribed and doesnt help becaus they are caused of bacteria for which antibiotics are not useful. read more:

    Hope it helps:)
