  1. Aah interesting question I personally suffer from chronic ear infections and have used that antibiotic b4 the answer is no one knows exactly it depends on how fast ur body is at clearing things as well as he shape your in and millions if other things but for me it took about a week I also have a build up in my right ear which makes me pretty deaf but what you can do is go get ear drops from a doc they will help and get ones with anesthetic in them so u feel nothing and the drops greatly help with clearing and breaking down the infection other than that if ur taking it everyday it should go away in a few days I’d say no more than 2 weeks probably I mean like it will be gone by the second week

Also things that help are using q-tips and 1-2 time a month drop a few drops of mineral oil in ur ears that has helped me a lot I’ve gotten my information from an E.N.T. So Im sure it Is all true

  2. You should take the medication for ten days, but usually a week tops for the infection to diminish. Taking sudaphed will help with the pressure symptoms, and relieve the “echo” or “clogged hearing” in your ear. Also, drinking and smoking weed will negate the effects of the medication, thus you will be wasting your time taking it. Sometimes, if the infection is bad enough, you might have to go back to the doc to get a stronger medication. This has happened to me a couple of times.
