Sure, why not? It stinks, but won’t hurt you.

Haven’t heard of that, but I have heard and tried hydrogen peroxide.
-
I’d go with the hydrogen peroxide remedy too.

The vinegar is an old home remedy…but as someone with chronic ear problems and earaches, I have found that Hydrogen Peroxide works best. Use an eyedropper and put cotton in your ear to keep it from running out. Sleep on that ear when you go to bed tonight, Good Luck..hope it works for you.

Do the peroxide instead. Make sure you have a new bottle because it lses it’s extra oxygen molecule fairly easily after you open the bottle. Pour it into the cap and then into your ear and let soak. Sounds like crazy stuff going on in there as it bubbles and does it’s business but just leave it in there for awhile or stuff a cotten ball in for the night.
Don’t let it run in your hair or get on your cloths because it might lighten it. But it won’t hurt your ear.I think it will help remove ear wax too.

Ow. You prolly need someone to look at it and get antibiotics if it doesn’t get better. Usually for swimmers ear and minor things you would mix (50/50) rubbing alcohol and cider vinegar. The vinegar acts as a mild antiseptic and the alcohol helps to dry it out quickly.
With peroxide you will get foaming goo that stays in your ear unless you rinse it out with something else.
And careful with q tips. You don’t want to push stuff farther back. I know some horror stories…good luck! -

YES !!!!!! Do not place anything else in your ears…. Even a q-tip pushes whatever should come out… back in. And if you have a ear infection… you probally made it worst. You need to go to a ENT doctor. That is a ” Ears Nose and Throat doctor. Have them see you, take ex-rays and they will address that problem. There are some things that we can not do at home. Leave it to the prfessionals.. Go the the doctor !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope that you get better… Good luck ok

Try not to put ANYTHING in your ear (Q-tip, A.C.vinegar, or even hydrogen peroxide).
Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is water w/ an extra Oxygen atom in it (H20 + O=H2O2).
water isn’t supposed to be in the ear, anyway. you could worsen your infection.
An idea is to get into sunlite, outside, w/ your ear facing the sun. The sun will make Vit. D in your body, and dry your ear @ the same time. Plus, the sun’s warmth feels good. Eat a tablespoon of Raw, unpasteurized, local honey will help ( it has natural antibiotics, supplied by the bees, to prevent the honey from rotting in the hives.)
Oddly enough, drink plenty of water, stay off of sweets (infections thrive off of sugar in the body), and if it gets really bad, you may have to go to your Dr. and he may prescribe ear drops for you.
All the best to you. -

its wierd but you need to put warm olive oil in your ear so that the infected ear is pointing upright. its weird but works.

EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
Disinfects and clears it up in a matter of hours.
Even works with babies, eases the pain too. Also keeps them from coming back as often.
